Shri Tuhin Kanta Pandey took charge as Chairman, Securities and Exchange Board of India in Mumbai on March 01, 2025.

Shri Pandey is an IAS Officer of Odisha Cadre belonging to 1987 batch. Before joining SEBI he served as Union Finance Secretary, Revenue Secretary and Secretary, Department of Investment & Public Asset Management (DIPAM), Secretary, Department of Public Enterprises and Secretary, DOP&T.

Shri Pandey has held many significant positions in Union Government and State Government of Odisha, in addition to serving a stint in the Regional Office of the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO).

In the Union Government, his previous organisations include Planning Commission (Now Niti Aayog), Cabinet Secretariat and Ministry of Commerce.

In State Government of Odisha, he served as administrative head in the Departments of Finance, Health, General Administration, Commercial Taxes and Transport.

In his career spanning over more than three decades, Shri Pandey has wide experience in the areas of Economy & Finance, Industrial Development, Tax policy and administration and has been instrumental in bringing about several institutional innovations, new policies and systems in the Departments he has served.

He holds a Masters Degree in Economics from Panjab University, Chandigarh and Master of Business Administration from the University of Birmingham (UK).

Mahesh is the CEO of Sahamati, a not-for-profit industry alliance of participants in the Account Aggregator (AA) ecosystem.

He’s been leading the implementation of the Account Aggregator framework, a Digital Public Infrastructure for Data empowerment. AA is a techno-legal framework that gives individuals & small businesses control of their data. It’s being rolled out in India and is the largest implementation of Open Finance globally.

Mahesh was also the visionary founder of OneIndia.com, credited with bringing all major Indian languages online as early as 2000, breaking barriers to digital access and inclusion. Guided by a deep commitment to empowerment, he continues to champion technology-led innovation for societal good.

D. P. Singh brings over 33 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry and currently serves as the Deputy Managing Director & Joint CEO. In this capacity, he oversees all business verticals and segments of the organisation.

A seasoned leader in the mutual fund industry, Mr. Singh has been associated with SBI Mutual Fund for more than 27 years, holding several senior leadership roles during his tenure. Navneet Munot is the MD & CEO of HDFC Asset Management Company Limited (HDFC AMC). He joined the firm in February 2021. HDFC AMC manages over Rs.7.75 lakh crore across Equity and Fixed Income Mutual Funds for over 1 crore investors across the country. Navneet is also the Chairman of the Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI).

A veteran of financial markets, Navneet has 3 decades of rich experience in the industry. Prior to joining HDFC AMC, he was the Executive director and Chief Investment officer of SBI Funds management Private Limited and was responsible for overseeing AUM over USD 150 billion across mutual funds and segregated accounts. Navneet was also a Director on the board of SBI Pension Funds (P) Limited.

In prior assignments, he was the Executive Director & Head – multi-strategy boutique with Morgan Stanley Investment Management and Chief Investment Officer – Fixed Income and Hybrid Funds at Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund.

Nilesh Shah is Managing Director of Kotak AMC. Nilesh lead his team to the Best Fund House of the Year Award at all the mutual funds where he has worked viz. Kotak, ICICI Prudential and Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund.

Nilesh is a part time member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister. He is a part time member of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). He is a member of the Board of Association of Mutual Funds in India and a Member of CoBoSAC committee of SEBI.

Mr. Dastoor joined UTI AMC on 6th May 2021 and has over 27 years of valuable experience in the financial services sector across banking and mutual funds. Before joining UTI AMC he spent 13 years at Franklin Templeton Asset Management India Pvt. Ltd. where he was Head – Sales since April 2014. Sashi Krishnan is the Director of the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM). He has 40 years’ experience in the Pension Fund Management, Life Insurance, and Mutual Fund industry.

In his previous role, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Pension System Trust, from January 2021 to January 2024. Prior to this, he was the CEO at Aditya Birla Sun Life Pension Management Limited. He has also held leadership roles at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Co. Ltd., Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Company Ltd., DBS Bank (Singapore), DBS Cholamandalam Asset Management Ltd., and Unit Trust of India.

Mr. S. Ramann assumed charge as Chairperson, Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) on 20th June, 2025.

Mr. Ramann served as an officer of the Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) from the 1991 batch. Prior to joining PFRDA, he served as the Deputy Comptroller & Auditor General and Chief Technology Officer in the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.

He has previously held several leadership positions, including Chairman and Managing Director of the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Managing Director of NeSL - Information Utility, Principal Accountant General of the State of Jharkhand; Chief General Manager (CGM) and then as Executive Director at the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) during the period 2006 to 2013.

Mr. Ramann holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics followed by an MBA from the University of Delhi. Amongst his professional and academic qualifications are an M.Sc. in Financial Regulation from the London School of Economics and Political Science, an LLB, Chief Digital Officer certification from the Indian School of Business, the Certified Internal Auditor credential from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Florida, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Securities Law.

Mr. Swarup Anand Mohanty is the Vice Chairman & CEO of Mirae Asset Investment Managers (India) Pvt.
